My Approach

I offer a flexible and compassionate approach to therapy that’s tailored to everyone’s age, stage of development, and personal challenges. I use a range of therapeutic methods, always guided by the unique needs of the person in front of me.

My approach is integrative, with a strong foundation in Person-Centred therapy. This creates a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore their feelings, deepen self-awareness, and build emotional resilience.

At the heart of my work is a deep belief in each person’s capacity for growth and positive change, given the right environment. Every session is grounded in empathy, respect, and genuine connection, empowering individuals to better understand themselves and move forward at a pace that feels right for them.

For Children (10 years+)

Creative & Play-Based Therapy:

Young children often communicate and process their emotions best through play, creativity, and movement. With younger children, this often means using play and art to explore feelings they may not yet have the words for. I use play techniques, art, mindfulness and storytelling to help children express themselves in ways that feel natural and safe. These methods support emotional regulation, build resilience, and help children make sense of the world around them.

For Teens and Young Adults:

Integrative Therapy:

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to emotional health. Not everyone feels ready to talk straight away, and that’s completely okay. I often integrate creative tools such as journaling, drawing, metaphors, and other expressive activities to help explore thoughts and feelings that can be hard to put into words.

I use developmentally appropriate psychoeducation, which can be incredibly empowering and help deepen self-understanding. These approaches can make the therapeutic process feel more engaging, accessible, and tailored to everyone’s individual needs.

Whether your child is feeling anxious, withdrawn, overwhelmed, or simply needs someone to talk to, integrative therapy adapts as they grow and change. My goal is always to meet them where they are and work together at a pace that feels safe and manageable.

For teenagers and young adults, sessions tend to be more conversational, while still incorporating creativity and proactive tools. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to talk openly and build practical skills for navigating life’s challenges.
